Vulcan 1TR45DF Gas Fryer, 50 lb Vat, Floor Model, Liquid Propane

The Vulcan POWERFRY3 15.5" Commercial Gas Fryer is a freestanding, liquid propane unit built for restaurant and commercial kitchen use. It combines a single fry pot with digital controls and a stainless steel body, making it a practical choice for operations that need consistent frying in a compact footprint.

This fryer operates on gas with a total output of 70,000 BTU and a temperature range of 200°F to 390°F. The digital control type and digital display allow staff to set and monitor temperatures, while the electronic matchless ignition supports startup without a standing pilot. The cooking area measures 14 inches deep by 14 inches wide, and the unit holds up to 50 pounds of oil in its single tank.

The stainless steel construction extends to the tank and exterior, and the fryer includes a threepass heat transfer system. A full port ball type drain valve with a 1.25 inch drain size supports routine oil management, and the Kleenscreen Plus mesh screen filter is two-sided. The fryer ships with two fryer baskets and four casters, two of which are locking and adjustable. Safety features include a hi-limit shut-off and a dry-fire safety prevention sequence for the A/C controls. Clearance requirements are 6 inches on the sides and rear, and 16 inches from adjacent open-top burner units.

The unit measures 15.5 inches wide, 30.12 inches deep, and 47.12 inches high, with a shipping weight of 196 pounds. It is CSA Design Certified, NSF Listed, and Energy Star Certified. It includes a 10-year warranty by the manufacturer.
