Vulcan 1TR45D Gas Fryer, 50 lb Vat, Floor Model, Natural Gas

The Vulcan POWERFRY3 15.5" Commercial Gas Fryer is a freestanding, natural gas fryer built for restaurant and commercial kitchen use. It combines a single stainless steel fry pot with digital controls and a 70,000 BTU burner, making it suitable for operations that need consistent frying output in a compact footprint.

The fryer holds 50 lb of oil and operates from 200°F to 390°F, with a maximum temperature of 390°F. The 14 in by 14 in cooking area provides a defined frying zone, and the three-pass heat transfer system supports heat distribution across the pot. Electronic matchless ignition starts the burner without a standing pilot.

A full port ball type drain valve with a 1.25 in drain simplifies oil changes and daily cleaning. The unit ships with two fryer baskets and four adjustable casters, two of which lock, so the fryer can be moved for service and then secured in place. The stainless steel tank and silver stainless steel exterior support routine wipe-downs in a commercial kitchen.

Safety features include a hi-limit shut-off and a dry-fire safety prevention sequence on the A/C controls. Clearance requirements are 6 in on the sides and rear, and 16 in from adjacent open-top burner units. The fryer is CSA Design Certified, NSF Listed, and Energy Star Certified. It includes a 10-year warranty by the manufacturer.
