Vulcan 1TR45C Gas Fryer, 50 lb Vat, Floor Model, Natural Gas

The Vulcan POWERFRY3 15.5" Commercial Gas Fryer is a freestanding, natural gas fryer built for restaurant and commercial kitchen use. It combines a stainless steel cabinet and fry tank with digital controls, making it a practical choice for operations that fry in high volume and need repeatable results.

This single fry pot unit has a 14 in by 14 in cooking area and holds up to 50 lb of oil. The temperature range runs from 200°F to 390°F, with a maximum temperature of 390°F shown on the digital display. A 70,000 BTU burner and a threepass heat transfer system support heat recovery during back-to-back frying, while electronic matchless ignition starts the burner without a standing pilot.

The fryer measures 15.5 in wide, 30.12 in deep, and 47.12 in high, and it ships at 196 lb. It includes four adjustable casters, two of which lock, so the unit can be moved for cleaning and then secured in place. A full port ball type drain valve with a 1.25 in drain simplifies oil changes, and two fryer baskets are included for daily service.

Safety features include a hi-limit shut-off and a dry-fire safety prevention sequence on the A/C controls. Clearance requirements are 6 in on the sides and rear, and 16 in from adjacent open-top burner units. The fryer is CSA Design Certified, NSF Listed, and Energy Star Certified. It includes a 10-year warranty by the manufacturer.
