Vulcan 1TR45C Gas Fryer, 50 lb Vat, Floor Model, Liquid Propane

The Vulcan POWERFRY3 15.5" Commercial Gas Fryer is a freestanding, single-pot gas fryer built for restaurant and commercial kitchen use. It runs on liquid propane and uses electronic matchless ignition to light the burner without a standing pilot.

The stainless steel fry tank holds 50 lb of oil and operates from 200°F to 390°F, with digital controls and a digital display for setting and reading temperature. A threepass heat transfer system moves heat through the tank, and the full port ball type drain valve with a 1.25 inch drain supports routine oil changes. The cooking area measures 14 in deep by 14 in wide, and the unit ships with 2 fryer baskets.

The cabinet measures 15.5 in wide, 30.12 in deep, and 47.12 in high, and it sits on 4 adjustable casters, 2 of which lock. The 70,000 BTU burner and the stainless steel exterior in silver suit a freestanding installation. Clearance is 6 inches at the sides and rear and 16 inches from adjacent open-top burner units. Safety features include a hi-limit shut-off and a dry-fire safety prevention sequence on the A/C controls. The fryer is CSA Design Certified, NSF Listed, and Energy Star Certified, and it ships at 196 lb as 1 each. It includes a 10-year warranty by the manufacturer.
