The Vulcan POWERFRY3 15.5" Commercial Gas Fryer is a freestanding, natural gas fryer built for restaurant and commercial kitchen use. It combines a single fry pot with solid state controls and a temperature range of 150°F to 390°F, giving operators a defined working window for frying a range of menu items.

This unit has a 14 in by 14 in cooking area and a 50 pound oil capacity in one stainless steel tank. The three-pass heat transfer system and 70,000 BTU input support heat recovery during service. A full port ball type drain valve with a 1.25 inch drain helps with emptying and cleaning, and the Kleenscreen Plus mesh screen filter is two-sided for filtration tasks.

The fryer ships with two fry baskets and four adjustable casters, two of which lock. Electronic matchless ignition starts the burner without a standing pilot, and safety features include a hi-limit shut-off and a dry-fire safety prevention sequence. The stainless steel body is silver in color, and the unit measures 15.5 in wide, 30.12 in deep, and 47.12 in high. It is CSA Design Certified, NSF Listed, and Energy Star Certified. It includes a 10-year warranty by the manufacturer.

Clearance requirements are 6 inches on the sides and rear, and 16 inches from adjacent open-top burner units. The shipping weight is 196 pounds, and the selling unit is 1 per each. This fryer is intended for commercial kitchens that need a single-pot gas fryer with solid state controls and a defined temperature range.
