Vulcan 1TR45A Gas Fryer, 50 lb Vat, Floor Model, Natural Gas

The Vulcan POWERFRY3 15.5" Commercial Gas Fryer is a freestanding, natural gas fryer built for restaurant and commercial kitchen use. It combines a stainless steel tank and cabinet with solid state controls, giving operators a single fry pot with a 14 in by 14 in cooking area for everyday frying tasks.

The fryer operates on natural gas with electronic matchless ignition and a total output of 70000 BTU. The temperature range runs from 150°F to 390°F, and the threepass heat transfer system supports heat distribution across the fry pot. A 50 pound oil capacity and one tank suit menu items that need consistent oil volume during service.

The unit measures 15.5 in wide, 30.12 in deep, and 47.12 in high, and it ships at 196 pounds. It sits on four adjustable casters, two of which lock, so staff can reposition the fryer for cleaning or service. The full port ball type drain valve with a 1.25 inch drain supports routine oil changes, and the stainless steel construction with a silver finish fits standard commercial kitchen layouts.

Safety and compliance features include a hi-limit shut-off and a dry-fire safety prevention sequence on the A/C controls. The fryer is CSA Design Certified, NSF Listed, and Energy Star Certified. Clearance requirements are 6 inches on the sides and rear, and 16 inches from adjacent open-top burner units. It includes a 10-year warranty by the manufacturer.
