Vulcan 1GR85M Gas Fryer, 90 lb Vat, Floor Model, Liquid Propane

The Vulcan 1GR Series 21 inch Commercial Gas Fryer is a freestanding, single fry pot unit built for restaurant and commercial kitchen use. It runs on liquid propane gas and delivers 150000 BTU, making it suitable for high-volume frying stations where consistent heat recovery matters.

The stainless steel tank and cabinet offer a silver finish that stands up to daily food handling. The thermostatic control holds temperatures from 200°F to 400°F, and the 18 inch by 19.5 inch cooking area gives the chef room to fry in batches. A 90 pound oil capacity supports extended service without frequent changes.

A full port ball type drain valve with a 1.25 inch drain simplifies oil changes, and the included crumb scoop and clean-out rod help with routine maintenance. The unit ships with two fryer baskets and four adjustable casters, two of which lock. Sheat exchanger tubes support heat transfer, and the standing pilot millivolt ignition keeps startup simple.

Safety features include a hi-limit shut-off and a combination gas shut-off valve with pilot safety system. Clearance requirements are 6 inches on the sides and rear, and 16 inches from adjacent open-top burner units. The fryer is CSA Design Certified and NSF Listed. It includes a one Year Limited Parts and Labor Warranty by the manufacturer.
