The Vulcan 1GR Series 15.5 inch Commercial Gas Fryer is a freestanding, single fry pot unit built for restaurant and commercial kitchen use. The fry tank and cabinet are stainless steel in a silver finish, and the 14 inch by 14 inch cooking area provides a defined frying surface for basket loads. The unit holds 50 pounds of oil in one tank and ships with two fryer baskets, a crumb scoop, and a clean-out rod. A full port ball type drain valve with a 1.25 inch drain supports routine oil changes, and the included tank brush helps with daily cleaning.

The fryer measures 15.5 inches wide, 30.25 inches deep, and 47.12 inches high, and it sits on four adjustable casters with two locking casters for positioning and stability. It uses a standing pilot or millivolt ignition and includes safety features such as a hi-limit shut-off and a combination gas shut-off valve and pilot safety system. Clearance requirements are 6 inches on the sides and rear and 16 inches from adjacent open-top burner units. The shipping weight is 215 pounds.
