Vulcan VICM48 48" Gas Cheese Melter, Infrared Burner, Liquid Propane

The Vulcan 48" Cheese Melter from the Core Series is a wall-mounted gas unit built for commercial kitchens that need consistent top-side melting and finishing. It suits restaurants, diners, and food service operations where menu items such as sandwiches, nachos, and casseroles require fast, even heat.

Two infrared burners deliver 20,000 BTU each for a total of 40,000 BTU, and the manual control type lets the operator adjust heat directly. The unit runs on liquid propane with a 3/4" NPT gas connection and an inlet gas pressure of 10" W.C. A gas pressure regulator and propane conversion kit are included.

The cooking area measures 46.2" wide by 15.06" deep by 9.97" high, and the stainless steel interior and silver exterior support routine cleaning in a food handling environment. One chrome-plated grid rack sits on a 3-position rack guide, and removable full-width spillage pans catch drips during service.

The unit measures 48" wide by 18.63" deep by 23.03" high and ships at 53" wide, 24" deep, and 29" high with a shipping weight of 240 pounds. Wall mounting brackets are included for installation. It is CSA Design Certified and NSF Listed. It includes a 1-year warranty by the manufacturer.
