Vulcan VICM72 72" Gas Cheese Melter, Infrared Burner, Liquid Propane

The Vulcan 72" Cheese Melter from the Core Series is a wall-mounted gas unit built for commercial kitchens that need consistent melting and finishing across a wide cooking area. Restaurant and foodservice operators use it to melt cheese, finish dishes, and hold items under infrared heat during service.

Two infrared burners deliver 30,000 BTU each for a total of 60,000 BTU, with manual controls that let the chef adjust heat directly. The unit runs on liquid propane and connects through a 3/4" NPT gas connection, with an inlet gas pressure of 10" W.C. A propane conversion kit is included.

The stainless steel exterior and interior measure 70.2" wide, 15.06" deep, and 9.97" high inside, providing a broad working surface for food handling. A chrome-plated grid rack sits on a 3-position rack guide, and removable full-width spillage pans collect drips for easier cleanup. The unit ships at 77" wide, 24" deep, and 29" high, weighing 340 pounds.

Included with the melter are wall mounting brackets, a gas pressure regulator, a propane conversion kit, removable spillage pans, and a chrome-plated grid rack. It is CSA Design Certified and NSF Listed. It includes a 1-year warranty by the manufacturer.
