Vulcan VICM36 36" Gas Cheese Melter, Infrared Burner, Natural Gas

The Vulcan CORE SERIES 36" cheese melter is a gas-fired, wall-mounted unit built for commercial kitchens that need a dedicated station for melting, browning, and finishing dishes. It suits restaurant lines, cafeterias, and catering operations where cheese-topped items are prepared to order.

A single infrared burner rated at 30,000 BTU provides focused heat, and the manual control lets the operator adjust output at the unit. The burner is fed by natural gas through a 3/4" NPT connection, with an inlet gas pressure of 5.0" W.C. A propane conversion kit is included for sites that run on propane.

The interior measures 34.20" wide by 15.06" deep by 9.97" high and is finished in stainless steel, matching the silver stainless steel exterior. One chrome-plated grid rack sits on a 3-position rack guide, so the rack height can be set for different food heights. Removable full-width spillage pans sit below the rack to catch drips and crumbs.

The unit is 36" wide, 18.63" deep, and 23.03" high, and it ships at 41" wide, 24" deep, and 29" high with a shipping weight of 186 pounds. Wall mounting brackets, a gas pressure regulator, and the spillage pans are included. It is CSA Design Certified and NSF Listed, and it is proudly made in America. It includes a one year limited parts and labor warranty by the manufacturer.
