The Manitowoc IYT0450W-161 Indigo NXT Ice Machine Head is a durable, high-capacity ice-making solution built for demanding commercial kitchens. Proudly made in America, this water-cooled ice machine features a corrosion-resistant DuraTech stainless steel exterior in a silver-colored finish for long-term durability. It produces up to 470 lb of half-dice ice cubes per day using just 4.2 kWh per 100 lbs, making it powerful.
It runs on 115V/60Hz/1 phase with a current draw of 11.2 amps from a 15 A fuse, using R-410A refrigerant. The unit includes key operational components like an external scoop holder, Arctic Pure water filters, and the iAuCS automatic cleaning system to ensure hygienic ice production and reduced maintenance downtime. It has an average output of 3800 BTU/hr and a peak output of 6000 BTU/hr.
The unit works at 20 psi to 276 psi condenser water pressure and 20 to 80 psi potable water pressure. The compact footprint of 30 in (W) x 24 in (D) x 21.5 in (H) makes it ideal for commercial kitchens with limited space. With a 3/8" water inlet and 1/2" drain size, it installs easily atop compatible Manitowoc bins (sold separately). It is optimized to operate within ambient temperatures of 40°F-110°F and water temperatures from 40°F-90°F, with a water usage of 19 gallons.
