Vulcan 972RX 72" Gas Griddle, Thermostatic Controls, 1" Steel Plate, Natural Gas

The Vulcan 72" Heavy Duty Gas Griddle is a countertop unit built for commercial kitchens that need a wide, thermostatically controlled cooking surface. Part of the 900RX Series, it is made in the United States and combines stainless steel and aluminized steel construction with a polished steel griddle plate.

The griddle plate measures 72 inches wide by 24 inches deep and is 1 inch thick, giving restaurant cooks a large area for batch cooking. Six U-shaped aluminized steel burners, each rated at 27,000 BTU, deliver a total of 162,000 BTU. The thermostatic control holds temperatures from 200°F to 550°F, and the pilot safety valve supports consistent operation.

A cool bullnose front ledge, fully welded grease chute, and bottom heat shields are built into the design. The 6-quart stainless steel grease tray collects runoff, while 4-inch stainless steel back and tapered side splashes help contain grease. The unit stands on 4-inch adjustable legs and does not include casters. It operates on natural gas with a 3/4" NPT connection and includes a gas pressure regulator. Manual and electric ignition are both provided.

Measuring 72 inches wide, 31.5 inches deep, and 15.25 inches high, the griddle ships at 790 pounds. It is CSA Design Certified and NSF Listed. It includes a 1-year warranty by the manufacturer.
