Vulcan 972RX-30 72" Gas Griddle, Thermostatic Controls, 1" Steel Plate, Liquid Propane

The Vulcan 900RX Series 72-inch heavy duty gas griddle is a countertop unit built for commercial kitchens that need a wide, thermostatically controlled cooking surface. With a 72-inch by 30-inch polished steel plate, it gives restaurant and foodservice operators room to cook multiple orders at once.

Six U-shaped aluminized steel burners, each rated at 27,000 BTU, deliver a total of 162,000 BTU across the plate. The thermostatic control holds temperatures from 200°F to 550°F, and the pilot safety valve supports consistent operation. The unit runs on liquid propane and includes a gas pressure regulator; the gas connection is 3/4-inch NPT.

The 1-inch polished steel plate is framed by a stainless steel body with aluminized steel components. A cool bullnose front ledge, fully welded grease chute, bottom heat shields, and 4-inch stainless steel back and tapered side splashes support daily food handling. A 6-quart stainless steel grease tray collects runoff, and the griddle stands on 4-inch adjustable legs without casters.

The griddle measures 72 inches wide, 37.5 inches deep, and 15.25 inches high, and it is CSA Design Certified and NSF Listed. It includes a 1-year warranty by the manufacturer.
