Vulcan 960RX 60" Gas Griddle, Thermostatic Controls, 1" Steel Plate, Natural Gas

The Vulcan 900RX Series 60-inch heavy duty gas griddle is a countertop unit built for commercial kitchens that need a wide, thermostatically controlled cooking surface. With a 60-inch by 24-inch polished steel plate and five 27,000 BTU U-shaped aluminized steel burners, it supports high-volume griddle work in restaurants, diners, and hotel kitchens.

The thermostatic control holds plate temperatures from 200°F to 550°F, and the pilot safety valve manages gas flow to the burners. Manual and electric ignition are both provided, and the unit ships with a gas pressure regulator for the 3/4-inch NPT natural gas connection. Total output is 135,000 BTU across the five burners, each set in a 12-inch section.

The 1-inch polished steel plate is framed by a cool bullnose front ledge, a fully welded grease chute, and a 6-quart stainless steel grease tray. A 4-inch stainless steel back splash and tapered side splashes contain grease and debris, while bottom heat shields sit beneath the burner area. The body combines stainless steel and aluminized steel in a silver finish, and the unit stands on 4-inch adjustable legs without casters.

The griddle measures 60 inches wide, 31.5 inches deep, and 15.25 inches high, and ships at 650 pounds. It is CSA Design Certified and NSF Listed. It includes a 1-year warranty by the manufacturer.
