Vulcan 948RX-30 48" Gas Griddle, Thermostatic Controls, 1" Steel Plate, Liquid Propane

The Vulcan 900RX Series 48-inch heavy duty gas griddle is a countertop unit built for commercial kitchens that need a wide, thermostatically controlled cooking surface. With a 48-inch by 30-inch polished steel plate and four 27,000 BTU U-shaped aluminized steel burners, it delivers a total of 108,000 BTU for high-volume grilling, searing, and breakfast service.

This griddle operates on liquid propane and features a thermostatic control type with a temperature range of 200°F to 550°F, allowing cooks to set and hold specific heat levels across the plate. The pilot safety valve and manual and electric ignition provide straightforward start-up, while the 3/4-inch NPT gas connection and included gas pressure regulator simplify installation in a restaurant or commercial kitchen.

The stainless steel and aluminized steel construction includes a cool bullnose front ledge, a fully welded grease chute, and bottom heat shields. A 6-quart stainless steel grease tray collects runoff, and the 4-inch stainless steel back splash and tapered side splashes help contain grease and debris. The unit stands on adjustable 4-inch legs and is CSA Design Certified and NSF Listed.

Measuring 48 inches wide, 37.5 inches deep, and 15.25 inches high, this heavy duty gas griddle is designed for countertop installation in commercial kitchens. It includes a 1-year warranty by the manufacturer.
