Vulcan 972RX 72" Gas Griddle, Thermostatic Controls, 1" Steel Plate, Liquid Propane

The Vulcan 900RX Series 72-inch heavy duty gas griddle is a countertop unit built for commercial kitchens that need a wide, thermostatically controlled cooking surface. With six 27,000 BTU U-shaped aluminized steel burners, it delivers a total of 162,000 BTU across a 72-inch by 24-inch polished steel plate, making it suitable for restaurant lines and high-volume food handling.

The 1-inch thick polished steel griddle plate holds heat evenly, while the thermostatic control maintains temperatures from 200°F to 550°F for menu items that require precise settings. A cool bullnose front ledge, fully welded grease chute, and 6-quart stainless steel grease tray support routine cleaning and grease management during service.

The unit operates on liquid propane and includes a gas pressure regulator and a 3/4-inch NPT gas connection. Manual and electric ignition options are provided, and a pilot safety valve adds a layer of operational control. The stainless steel and aluminized steel body is finished in silver, with 4-inch adjustable legs and 4-inch stainless steel back and tapered side splashes.

Measuring 72 inches wide, 31.5 inches deep, and 15.25 inches high, the griddle fits a countertop footprint and ships at 790 pounds. It is CSA Design Certified and NSF Listed. It includes a 1-year warranty by the manufacturer.
