At the core of this grinder are 83 mm flat steel burrs made from high-carbon steel, spinning at 1080 RPM via a high-torque electric motor rated at 650 watts and 110V/60Hz. The large burr diameter supports a consistent grind particle size across a wide range of espresso recipes, while the micrometric grind adjustment system allows baristas to dial in the exact grind setting with fine, repeatable increments.

The Major VP features on-demand grinding, meaning coffee is ground only when a dose is requested, keeping ground coffee fresh and reducing waste during slower periods.
