Vulcan VHP848U 48" Heavy-Duty Gas Hotplate, 4" Elevated Rear Step-Up Burners, Liquid Propane

The Vulcan VHP Series 48" Countertop Gas Hotplate is a commercial gas range built for restaurant and commercial kitchen use. With eight open burners and a total output of 220,000 BTU, it supports high-volume cooking on a compact countertop footprint.

Each of the eight cast iron open burners delivers 27,500 BTU/hr, and the lift-off burner heads simplify cleaning and maintenance. The 4" elevated rear step-up burners with backsplash help contain splatter while keeping rear pans accessible. A pull-out crumb tray collects debris for faster end-of-shift cleanup.

The unit measures 48" wide, 31.37" deep, and 16.62" high, and it stands on four adjustable legs with a 4" size. The stainless steel body in silver resists routine wear, while the cast iron grates hold heavy pans. It connects to a 3/4" NPT gas line and runs on liquid propane at 10" W.C. inlet pressure with a standing pilot ignition.

This hotplate is CSA Certified and NSF Certified for commercial food handling. It includes a 1-year warranty by the manufacturer.
