Vulcan VHP848 48" Heavy-Duty Gas Hotplate, 8 Burners, Natural Gas

The Vulcan VHP Series 48 inch countertop gas hotplate is a commercial kitchen appliance built for restaurants that need high-output cooking in a compact footprint. With eight open burners and a stainless steel body, it suits chef stations that run multiple pans at once during service.

Each of the eight cast iron open burners delivers 30,000 BTU/hr, for a total output of 240,000 BTU. The manual controls and standing pilot ignition keep operation straightforward, while the lift-off burner heads and pull-out crumb tray simplify daily cleaning between shifts.

The unit measures 48 inches wide, 31.37 inches deep, and 16.62 inches high, and it sits on four adjustable legs with a 4 inch size. A backsplash contains splatter, and the 3/4 inch NPT gas connection supports natural gas at an inlet pressure of 5 inches W.C. The hotplate ships at 310 pounds and is CSA Certified and NSF Certified for commercial food handling.

It includes a 1-year warranty by the manufacturer.
