Vulcan VHP636U 36" Heavy-Duty Gas Hotplate, 4" Elevated Rear Step-Up Burners, Liquid Propane

The Vulcan VHP Series 36" Countertop Gas Hotplate is a commercial gas range built for restaurant and commercial kitchen use. With six open burners and a stainless steel body, it fits operations that need concentrated stovetop power in a compact footprint.

Each of the six cast iron open burners delivers 27,500 BTU/hr, for a total output of 165,000 BTU. The lift-off burner heads and pull-out crumb tray simplify daily cleaning, while the cast iron grates support heavy pans during service. A 4" elevated rear step-up burner section and backsplash help contain splatter and heat at the back of the unit.

The hotplate measures 36" wide, 31.37" deep, and 16.62" high, and it sits on four adjustable legs that level the unit on uneven countertops. It connects to a 3/4" NPT gas line and runs on liquid propane with a standing pilot ignition and manual controls. Inlet gas pressure is LP 10" W.C. The unit is CSA Certified and NSF Certified. It includes a 1-year warranty by the manufacturer.

This countertop hotplate is sold as 1 each and is intended for commercial installation. Its silver stainless steel finish and cast iron grates suit high-volume cooking lines where burners are in near-constant use.
