The Vulcan VHP Series 36" Countertop Gas Hotplate is a commercial gas range built for restaurant and commercial kitchen use. With six open burners and a stainless steel body, it fits on a countertop and provides a compact cooking station for high-volume food preparation.

Each of the six open burners delivers 30,000 BTU/hr, for a total output of 180,000 BTU. The cast iron burner heads and cast iron grates hold up to daily use, and the lift-off burner heads allow for straightforward cleaning. A backsplash helps contain splatter, while the pull-out crumb tray collects debris below the burners.

This unit operates on natural gas with a 3/4" NPT gas connection and a standing pilot ignition. It measures 36" wide, 31.37" deep, and 16.62" high, and it sits on four adjustable legs, each 4 inches, so the height can be leveled on uneven floors. The silver stainless steel finish supports routine wiping in a commercial kitchen.

The hotplate is CSA Certified and NSF Certified, and it ships at 265 pounds. It includes a 1-year warranty by the manufacturer. Manual controls give the chef direct adjustment of each burner during service.
