The Vulcan VHP Series 12" Countertop Gas Hotplate is a commercial gas range built for restaurant kitchens that need concentrated cooking power in a compact footprint. With two open burners and a 12-inch width, it fits on countertops where full-size ranges will not, making it a practical choice for line cooking, prep stations, and satellite cooking areas.

Each of the two open burners delivers 30,000 BTU/hr for a total of 60,000 BTU, and the cast iron burner heads and cast iron grates hold up to daily commercial use. The lift-off burner heads simplify cleaning, while the backsplash helps contain splatter. A pull-out crumb tray collects debris below the burners for routine maintenance.

The unit operates on natural gas with a standing pilot ignition and a 3/4" NPT gas connection. Inlet gas pressure is NG 5" W.C. The stainless steel body has a silver finish, and four adjustable legs measuring 4 inches allow the hotplate to sit level on uneven countertops. It measures 12" wide by 31.37" deep by 16.62" high and ships at 95 pounds.
