Vulcan VHP848 48" Heavy-Duty Gas Hotplate, 8 Burners, Liquid Propane

The Vulcan VHP Series 48" Countertop Gas Hotplate is a commercial gas range built for restaurant and commercial kitchen use. With eight open burners and a stainless steel body, it suits operations that need high-output cooking in a compact countertop footprint.

Each of the eight cast iron open burners delivers 27,500 BTU/hr, for a total output of 220,000 BTU. The lift-off burner heads and pull-out crumb tray support routine cleaning between service periods, while the cast iron grates hold pans steady over the flame.

The unit measures 48" wide, 31.37" deep, and 16.62" high, and it sits on four adjustable legs with a 4-inch size. It connects to a 3/4" NPT gas line and runs on liquid propane at an inlet pressure of 10" W.C., with a standing pilot ignition and manual controls. A backsplash is included, and the silver stainless steel finish fits standard commercial kitchen layouts.

This hotplate ships as 1 each at 310 pounds. It is CSA Certified and NSF Certified, and it includes a 1-year warranty by the manufacturer.
