Vulcan SG4 Gas Convection Oven, Single Deck, Full Size, 60,000 BTU, Liquid Propane

The Vulcan SG4 Series 40.25" Gas Convection Oven is a full size floor model built for commercial kitchens that need consistent baking, roasting, and rethermalizing across a single deck. It suits restaurants, bakeries, and institutional food service operations where one oven handles a steady mix of menu items.

This gas convection oven runs on liquid propane with a 3/4 in gas connection and delivers 60,000 BTU. The 0.5 horsepower, 2 speed oven blower motor circulates heat evenly, while the solid state temperature control holds settings from 150°F to 500°F. A 60 minute timer with audible alarm helps staff track bake times without constant monitoring.

The cabinet measures 40.25 in wide by 41.125 in deep by 54.75 in high and stands on four 23 3/4 in painted legs. The interior is porcelain coated enamelled steel with a standard depth cavity measuring 29 in wide by 22 1/8 in deep by 20 in high. It holds five nickel plated racks across 11 rack positions, and each rack measures 28 1/4 in wide by 20 1/2 in deep. Two solid stainless steel doors with double pane glass keep heat in and let cooks check progress without opening the oven.

Electrical requirements are 120V, 60 Hz, 1 phase, and 7.7 amps, with a 6 ft power cord and plug included. The oven ships at 464 lb and weighs 410 lb in operation. It is CSA Design Certified, CSA Certified, NSF Certified, and Energy Star rated, and it is proudly made in America. It includes a 1-year warranty by the manufacturer.
