Vulcan VSC36 36" Chef Base Refrigerator, 2-Drawer, Stainless Steel, 115V

The Vulcan 36" Chef Base Refrigerator is a refrigerated base unit designed for commercial kitchens that need cold storage directly under cooking equipment. With a 36 inch width, 32 inch depth, and 26 inch height, it fits under counter lines and cooking suites where space is tight. The stainless steel top and silver finish support a 625 lbs maximum top load capacity, so it can hold countertop cooking equipment while keeping ingredients within reach.

This chef base uses a self-contained, left side mounted compressor and R-404A refrigerant to maintain a 34°F to 38°F temperature range. A microprocessor control with a 3-digit LED display lets staff monitor and adjust settings. The unit draws 6.7 amps at 115 volts, 60 Hz, single phase, and connects with a NEMA 5-15P plug on a 9 foot power cord. Off-cycle defrost and foamed in place polyurethane insulation help manage temperature between door openings.

Two drawers accept 12" x 20" x 6" food pans, with a total full size food pan capacity of 2 pans. Each drawer has a full length handle with a gasket guard and a vinyl magnetic snap-in gasket. The interior is stainless steel for routine cleaning. The adjustable channel moving system includes 3 inch casters for positioning the unit. With the drawer open, depth extends to 54 1/8 inches, and 34 1/8 inches over the handle.
