The Vulcan ARS (Achiever) 72" Chef Base Refrigerator is a refrigerated base designed to sit under cooking equipment in a commercial kitchen. With a 1,200-pound top capacity and marine edge, it supports countertop appliances while keeping ingredients within reach.

This unit has four self-closing drawers with a stay-open feature and 14-gauge stainless steel slides. Each drawer holds 12" x 20" x 6" pans, and the front-to-back pan orientation accommodates up to eight full-size food pans. The stainless steel interior and exterior support daily food handling, and the magnetic snap-in drawer gaskets help maintain the 34°F to 38°F temperature range.

The self-contained hermetic compressor is left-side mounted, and the front-breathing design allows zero clearance installation. A 3-digit LED display and microprocessor control (INTELA-TRAUL) thermostat provide temperature monitoring. The unit operates on 115V, 60Hz, single-phase power with a 6.7 amp draw, a 9-foot cord, and a NEMA 5-15P plug. It uses R-404A refrigerant and off-cycle evaporator defrost, with foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation. The 4-inch casters with adjustable channels allow positioning. It is cULus Listed and NSF Certified, and proudly made in America.
