The Vulcan ARS36 Chef Base Refrigerator is a 36-inch refrigerated base built for commercial kitchens that need cold storage directly under cooking equipment. Part of the ARS (Achiever) series, it is designed for restaurant lines where space is tight and access to ingredients must be quick.

The unit measures 36 inches wide, 34 inches deep, and 26 inches high, with a stainless steel top and marine edge that supports up to 625 pounds of countertop equipment. Two self-closing drawers with a stay-open feature accept 12" x 20" x 6" pans, and each drawer rides on 14-gauge stainless steel slides. A 3-digit LED display and microprocessor control (INTELA-TRAUL) manage the 34°F to 38°F temperature range.

Power requirements are 115 volts, 60 Hz, single phase, drawing 6.7 amps through a NEMA 5-15P plug on a 9-foot cord. The self-contained hermetic compressor is left-side mounted, and the front-breathing design allows zero clearance installation. R-404A refrigerant and off-cycle evaporator defrost support consistent operation, while foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation helps hold temperature. The cabinet ships at 410 pounds and includes 4-inch casters with adjustable channels.
