The Hotpoint AHHS09D2XXA is a through-the-wall PTAC unit designed for year-round comfort in residential and light commercial spaces. Proudly made in America and finished in white, it features a rotary compressor and a heat pump with resistance backup, delivering 9,200 to 9,400 BTU of cooling and 8,100 to 8,400 BTU of heating.
With a Cooling EER (BTUH/Watt) of 11.3/11.4 and a heating COP of 3.3, this unit offers high energy efficiency. It operates on 208/230 volts, using eco-friendly R32 refrigerant. Power draw is rated at 830/850 watts (cooling) and 745/715 watts (heating) with amperage of 3.9/3.7 A (cooling) and 4.3/4.7 A (heating). Built with a slide-in chassis, the AHHS09D2XXA includes 2 fan speeds for cooling, heating, and fan-only modes.
It also features a 2-position discharge grille, concealed manual vent control, and outdoor vent/exhaust for customizable airflow. Additional features include Auto Power Recovery, Auto Emergency Heat, Freeze Sentinel, frost control, and SmartFan™ automatic fan cycling. It supports remote thermostat connectivity, includes a single fan motor, and maintains a temperature range of 62°F to 80°F.
