The Hotpoint AHHS12E3XXA is a through-the-wall PTAC unit designed to deliver reliable year-round heating and cooling. Proudly made in America and finished in white, it features a rotary compressor, a single fan motor, and a heat pump with resistance backup. The unit delivers up to 12,200 BTU cooling and 11,000 BTU heating capacity using energy-efficient R32 refrigerant.
With an EER of 10.4 and a COP of 3.1, it provides strong performance with lower energy consumption. Built with a slide-in chassis, the unit includes 2 fan speeds for cooling, heating, and fan-only modes, and a 2-position discharge grille. It features concealed manual vent control, hidden vent operation, and outdoor vent/exhaust for better airflow control.
Additional safeguards include Auto Power Recovery, Freeze Sentinel, and frost control to protect the unit during colder conditions. During operation, it draws 4.5 amps at 1170 watts for cooling, and 5.2 amps at 1035 watts for heating. With compact dimensions of 42.4 in W x 20.9 in D x 16 in H, the unit fits standard wall sleeves.
